Artificial Thatch Grass
Also known as synthetic thatch, is a manufactured material designed to replicate the appearance and function of natural thatch, which is traditionally made from dried plant matter like straw, reeds, or palm leaves. It’s used for roofing, gazebos, tiki bars, and other outdoor structures to create a rustic, tropical, or traditional aesthetic.
The material is typically made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or other durable, synthetic plastics that are molded and colored to look like different types of natural thatch, such as African Cape Reed, Mexican palm, or Hawaiian Pili grass.
